BDSwiss Holds Q1 2022 Global Town Hall
A key quarterly event for the company and its stakeholders, BDSwiss’ latest Global Town Hall meeting took place on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Limassol Cyprus. The hybrid event hosted the entire BDSwiss family in both physical and digital form, with more than 300 employees from 13 countries in attendance.
With hybrid gatherings that are as unique and diverse as its workforce, BDSwiss Town Hall meetings are held at the end of each quarter and aim to educate, inform, inspire, and motivate. Following a challenging year, BDSwiss’ Q1 Global Town Hall meeting was the perfect opportunity for attendees to hear directly from one of the BDSwiss founders on the history of the company and its impressive 10-year journey – from a small Zurich apartment, BDSwiss has evolved into a global industry leader, serving more than 1.6 million registered users.
Recently appointed CEO, Nicolas Shamtanis also took to the stage to present and provide an overview of the current state of affairs and company developments, as well as share BDSwiss’ new strategic approach, future plans, and long-term vision. Among other important updates, Mr. Shamtanis outlined the company’s next steps and particularly when it comes to venturing into new fintech verticals and exploring a multi-asset approach through novel investment vehicles.
Mr. Shamtanis was later joined by BDSwiss Head of HR, Natale Mastoroudes, with a presentation on the new processes put in place to support BDSwiss’ expansion into new and emerging markets, the latest hybrid and remote work flexibilities afforded to the company’s global workforce, and encouraged a brief discussion on how the HR team plans to continue to facilitate social cohesion and a unified hybrid virtual culture that transcends individual teams. As Ms. Mastoroudes mentioned in her presentation, “People are our most valuable asset,” and BDSwiss’ HR department is instrumental in ensuring the stability of the company through effective people management.
The event concluded with an open Q&A session where employees were able to voice their questions on areas regarding product, marketing, and company culture.
