BDSwiss Partners and Clients Experience the DP World Championship – an event sponsored by BDS Markets

BDSwiss was immensely proud to be one of the official sponsors of this year’s DP World Championship – an annual milestone event that brings together some of the world’s top golf players to compete for the title of Champion of the European Tour, Race To Dubai.

Held annually at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, the DP World Championship is an end-of-season tournament and the finale of the European Tour. One of the world’s top sporting destinations, Dubai has been home to the DP World Championship since 2009. Over the course of this long but exciting weekend we saw the participating golfers perform at their very best, signifying their resilience, patience and perseverance.

This year’s “Race to Dubai” made history as it was the very first time an American player won both the DP World Tour Championship and the Race to Dubai crown. Collin Morikawa birdied five of the last seven holes to win the tournament, in a match against leading world golfers like Matt Fitzpartick, Jon Rahm, Danny Willet and Rory Mcllroy.

The DP World Championship Experience

To reward its most loyal clients, BDSwiss sent three loyal traders on an all-inclusive trip to Dubai. The trip included flights, accommodation, as well as hospitality tickets to the tournament. Subject to their availability, clients were able to choose which of the two tournaments they preferred to attend.

The VIP Hospitality Experience

BDSwiss also treated a number of its most loyal and high-performing partners to a “VIP DP World Hospitality Package”. BDSwiss partners got to enjoy the tournament from the Championship Chalets, with breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the end of the day’s play, they were invited to join the hospitality program which included a helicopter flight across Dubai, a Hummer Limousine ride around the city and a luxurious dinner party on a private yacht.

The DP World Tour Championship is BDSwiss’s second major sporting event sponsorship for 2021, following the two-year deal as the gold sponsor of the MercedesCup ATP 250 Stuttgart tennis tournament that was signed earlier this year.
